June 13, 2019 - Gender Based Analysis Plus
The symbolism of GBA+ has become transformative.
Today, the plus symbol is used as a way of identifying how the tool leverages analysis for alternate purposes other than biological sex or socio-cultural gender. The GBA+ event will highlight current gender equality initiatives, intersectionality, gender equality gaps and how we can use GBA+ as a tool throughout our own careers.Guest speaker: Melanie Stewart, Assistant Deputy Minister, Gender Equity Office, BC Ministry of Finance
